HRIS Analyst

Overview The HRIS Analyst performs a variety of professional administrative tasks and organizes information with Encore Electric’s HRIS (UKG) to support the Human Resources Business Partner team. Compensation $70,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience. General Responsibilities Maintain open communication lines with all working relationships Follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performed Earn and maintain customer’s trust Uphold the core values of the organization Work well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the job Specific Responsibilities This role will hold responsibilities across multiple facets of HR, including operations, process management, data analytics and reporting. HR Operations & Process Management Push new hires into UKG each week, including processing E-Verify Manage weekly payroll changes in HRIS and communicate updates to Payroll in accordance with established procedures Administer and support the performance review process as directed, including apprentice self-reviews, ensuring consistency, compliance, and equitable application across the organization with direction from HRBPs Ensure apprentice job titles are accurate by conducting periodic audits and processing title updates Lead the annual I-9 audit, identifying risks, ensuring corrective action, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements Collect employee relations data and deliver to HR Business Partners Data Analytics and Reporting Design, build, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports from the HRIS (UKG) Create dashboards to reflect workforce trends and enable data-driven decision making in the following areas: Onboarding and new-hire trends Performance management cycles and completion rates Attendance, absences, and pattern identification Promotions, internal movement, and workforce progression Turnover analysis (voluntary/involuntary, trends, themes) Partner with HRBP teams to identify reporting needs and continuously improve data outputs based on business questions and priorities Data Integrity, Validation and Maintenance Validate data accuracy across UKG reports, ensuring consistency, completeness, and reliability before distribution Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, partnering with HR team members as needed to correct upstream data issues Establish data quality checks and controls to support reliable trend analysis and decision‑making Create and maintain documented procedures for recurring HR reports, data pulls, and analysis processes to ensure consistency and continuity Standardize reporting methods to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency for the HR Business Partner team Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting workflows within UKG and Excel Analytical Support and Insights Analyze trends and themes in HR data and provide concise summaries that help Business Partners anticipate risks, hotspots, or improvement opportunities Support leadership and HR team requests with timely, data-driven analysis that informs workforce planning and employee experience initiatives Develop meaningful visuals, summaries, and talking points to support HRBP conversations with leaders Tools, Skills and Self-Management Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, charts) to analyze and present HR data efficiently Demonstrate strong organization and time-management skills to manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines Operate as a self-starter who takes ownership of data, asks thoughtful questions, and seeks opportunities to add value Possess a high level of integrity; ability to maintain highly confidential information Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and create dashboards to make data-driven decisions Collaborate closely with HR team members to align reporting with HR programs, policies, and operational needs Serve as extra hands to HR team when needed Other Duties As May Be Assigned None. Knowledge Human Resources Principles Database management UKG (preferred) Skills Time management Database maintenance Organize work to accomplish tasks Operating a computer including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Explorer, database software and various websites Adapting to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or information Estimating resources needed to complete required tasks Following up until project is 100% complete Managing complex projects, breaking them down to their component levels Using communication software Reading and writing Maintain accuracy of data Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understanding Abilities Retain and access critical information from memory See things from multiple perspectives Requirements This position requires at least two years experience in Human Resources as well as a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related degree. Experience in UKG strongly preferred. Data management and analytics experience is a must.
