Job Title: Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Point Pleasant & Red Bank, NJ Employment Type: Part-Time (3 Days Per Week)

Schedule: - 3 weekdays per week (Monday–Thursday) - 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasionally until 6:00 PM as needed) - Flexible schedule. - At least one shift per week must be worked at our Red Bank office, with the remaining shifts at our Point Pleasant location.

We are currently seeking a warm, professional, and organized Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice and ensure a positive experience for every patient.

About the Role: As our Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a friendly welcome and efficient support for all their needs. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and helping patients feel cared for and respected throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments to support smooth office flow.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and contact details.
• Collect payments for consultations, treatments, and services.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist with administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and correspondence. - Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Familiarity with medical terminology; functional medicine experience is a plus. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Passion for holistic, integrative, or functional medicine is highly desirable.
