These positions will be responsible for overseeing aquatic activities, ensuring the safest environment for patrons, and enforcing facility safety regulations. In addition, these positions will orient new lifeguards and provide training to their lifeguard team. The incumbents can also expect to assist with overall pool operations and maintenance. The preferred candidate will have a passion for aquatics and exhibit strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations. Available locations for these temporary and limited part time (19hr/week) opportunities could be Eastway Regional Recreation Center, Northern Regional Recreation Center, Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center, Marion Diehl Recreation Center and Ray's Splash Planet.By applying to this position, you are eligible to be considered for a similar role, in which you meet the minimum qualifications for, at other Park and Recreation locations should they become available.
