Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Insurance Agent (Unlicensed) to join our client to support customer acquisition efforts and help individuals identify insurance solutions that meet their unique needs. This direct-hire opportunity is based in Grand Rapids, MI and offers the chance to build a rewarding career within a growing, customer-focused environment. Compensation:
$38,000 - $48,000 annually, plus commission

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
One Saturday per month, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Agent (Unlicensed):

• Engage with prospective customers through primarily inbound conversations, assessing needs and presenting appropriate insurance options that align with individual circumstances.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience by explaining coverage details, costs, and available solutions in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
• Identify additional product opportunities through active listening and relationship-building, contributing to both customer value and business growth.
• Manage multiple systems and tools efficiently while maintaining accurate information and a seamless customer interaction experience.
• Consistently work toward sales objectives and performance benchmarks while maintaining strong service standards.
• Support the completion of the sales process from initial inquiry through policy enrollment and follow-up activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Agent (Unlicensed):

• At least one year of experience in a sales-focused environment, such as retail, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success achieving goals, metrics, quotas, or other measurable performance targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to tailor messaging to different customer situations.
• Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Confidence influencing purchasing decisions and building rapport that leads to successful sales outcomes.
• Interest in developing a long-term career within the insurance industry and willingness to obtain required property and casualty licensing in applicable states.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a high-energy, customer-centered setting.
