SOUTH BAY SANDBLASTING & TANK CLEANING, INC. located in San Diego, CA is a shipyard related subcontractor looking to hire a Receptionist.

Job Summary

We're seeking a receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, has excellent communication skills, practices excellent time management, friendly and polite.

Must be in San Diego California, we are not looking to relocate candidates at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, visitors, and employees with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Announcing clients, visitors, and employees as necessary.
• Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
• Updating and processing Access list for all Prime contractors and Ship Access.
• Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, and faxing
• Preparing meeting and training rooms.
• Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
• Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls.
• Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
• Sorting and distributing mail.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist job seekers with employment application
• Keeps a safe and clean reception/lobby area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Education Requirements:
