Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - RN MICU Location: Arlington, TX Unit: ICU 2 Classification: RN-ICU Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM Shift Type: Night Shift General Information Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed: Quantity: Bill Rate Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P Weekend – Rotating Call Requirements: No Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: Unit staffing description: Assignments according to acuity and skills Type of equipment : all ICU equipment-ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, Client Cardiac Output monitor Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: As needed Hospital Specifics: Certifications: CCRN preferred Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) 2 years of Hospital Experience BLS ACLS Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: Meditech Experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active RN TX license – temp license will not be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Central line placements, bedside procedure like thoracentesis, dialysis Cath placements, cardioversions, intubations and all other ICU procedures Patient Experience Required: MICU/MSICU Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color RN: Royal Blue Scrubs Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab. Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc. Other – Unit Guidelines/Policies: Floating Guidelines: Attendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
