C4 Technical Services is seeking skilled Auto Mechanics interested in advancing their mechanical expertise to specialize in commercial trailer maintenance and repair. This role involves independent work utilizing a range of hand, power, and diagnostic tools. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training on trailer systems, safety standards, and hands-on repair techniques to support fleet operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair on trailer systems
- Maintain and repair brake systems and suspension components
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and wiring maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance and thorough inspections
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks as necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Operate standard hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners
- Conduct basic structural repairs on trailers
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of mechanical repair experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and brake system maintenance
- Experience with electrical wiring diagnostics and welding/fabrication
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong safety awareness and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to work independently
