Front Desk Receptionist/Customer Service Representative

Salary: USD20 - USD22 per hour LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established educational products company to hire a Customer Support Specialist to join their team in Vernon Hills, IL. What You'll Do Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and create a welcoming, professional experience Manage visitor check-in and day-to-day front desk operations Answer and route incoming phone calls Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, website submissions, and social media Assist customers with orders, product questions, and general inquiries Research and resolve customer concerns and escalated issues Monitor customer portals for orders, shipping notifications, and updates Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and operational needs Assist with facility-related concerns and other administrative needs as needed What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required 1–3 years of customer service, reception, front desk, or administrative experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including basic Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization and multitasking abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Compensation $20.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Yes, I am currently eligible to work (work permit/visa/citizenship) in the country to which I am applying.
