Office Clerk - (Grades 6-8)

Job Title

Work with the teachers in the building to complete clerical tasks as needed

Performance Responsibilities:

• Primary lead for Breakfast and Lunch
• Responsible for daily counts, reporting, and sales for all students and staff
• Responsible for point of sale at breakfast and lunchtimes
• Responsible for keeping accurate information on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program
• Responsible for distributing district and US Mail
• Primary contact for copy machine
• Tracks/orders paper and copying supplies
• Responsible for clerical tasks as assigned by Administration
• Participate and maintain a team atmosphere within the office
• Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with students, staff, administration, families and community
• Present a positive image of the school and a welcoming demeanor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Experience working in a school environment preferred
• Strong clerical and organizational skills
• Strong communications skills
• Computer skills preferred
• The ability to speak foreign language/Spanish preferred

Employment Terms/Hours: 7.5 hours/day, five days/week

Salary: As per current support staff contract
