Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated occupational therapist seeking a short-term contract role near Kent, WA. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively within school settings, supporting students' unique needs and fostering their growth.

As a key member of the educational team, you’ll assess and support an assigned caseload, making a direct difference in students’ academic and daily lives. This contract is full-time (40 hours per week) with an immediate start date, lasting approximately 4 weeks. Your site location will be determined prior to your start date.

Key Qualifications:

• Current OSPI certification/licensure required
• Experience providing OT services in school-based environments
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt materials and equipment to accommodate diverse learning needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and establish individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and support staff
• Participate actively in special education evaluations, reevaluations, and IEP meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor occupational therapy goals, supports, and accommodations
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services in both general and special education classrooms
• Maintain thorough documentation, including student records and evaluation reports
• Use progress monitoring data to inform and adapt therapy services
• Communicate effectively with families, teachers, paraeducators, and other staff
• Join required staff meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
