At Care Sante Southwark , we are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our Lew Evans and Harriet Hardy services. About The Role Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of both services, ensuring exceptional standards of care, compliance, and staff performance. You will be a positive role model, supporting and developing the team while promoting independence, dignity, and choice for every individual. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the Lew Evans and Harriet Hardy services. Lead, motivate, and supervise care staff to deliver outstanding person-centred care. Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate, person-centred, and regularly reviewed. Monitor compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding legislation, and company policies. Support recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and staff development. Complete audits, spot checks, and quality assurance activities. Assist with rota management and maintain safe staffing levels. Develop positive relationships with service users, families, professionals, and external agencies. Act as the Registered Manager in their absence when required. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have: Previous supervisory or management experience within a health or social care setting. A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements. The ability to inspire and develop a team. A proactive and flexible approach to work. Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards). Experience leading or supervising a care team. Strong IT, written, and verbal communication skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
