Description

• Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric demographics using well-regarded assessments and thorough observational analysis.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that encompass immediate and long-term communication and swallowing objectives.
• Engage in personalized speech therapy interventions that enhance communication patterns, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, families, and caregivers to develop unified care solutions.
• Provide education to patients and families to facilitate success beyond treatment sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring comprehensive care along their healing path.
• Keep meticulous documentation that complies with state, federal, and internal standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Fulfillment of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) credential to be acquired within 30 days after joining.
