Provide educational resources and guidance for patients and their families to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless experience for every patient.

Ensure thorough and timely documentation that complies with all applicable guidelines and regulations.

Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and peer reviews.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for various age groups, along with a deep understanding of both acquired and developmental speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and the broader care team.

Adept at adjusting therapy practices to respect cultural and linguistic diversity.
