Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using various standardized assessment tools and observational strategies.
• Create tailored treatment plans geared towards immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing benchmarks.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions concentrating on communication skills, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
• Work alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop holistic care plans.
• Provide educational support for patients and their families to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's healing journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation, meeting state, federal, and facility standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to stay on the cutting edge of the field.

Education:

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications:

• A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
