Date Posted: 2026-06-30 Location: US-MI-HOLT-PLANT 5 ~ 1781 Holloway Dr ~ PLANT 5 Role Type: Onsite Shift Hours: Saturday – Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Security Clearance: None / Not Required What You Will Do You will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction. In conjunction with daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication and execution with support group members is critical to the department’s success. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned hourly workforce: time & attendance, time off, rewards, vouchering, training, communications, etc. Define and implement plans to support business objectives including Quality and Financial Metrics. Meet business metric goals as defined for each cell (cost, quality, delivery, EH&S). Lead process improvement opportunities using continuous improvement and Lean strategies to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time, and reduce operational costs. Implement root‑cause corrective actions in a timely manner to maintain quality standards. Meet the schedule, plan and execute contingency plans. Coach employees to develop a motivated, effective team. Conduct performance and skill review processes for Operations Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Inspectors. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing required training, and supporting committee activities. Cover other shifts as needed to support the business and bridge objectives across three operating shifts. Make minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area. Set day‑to‑day operational objectives for the team. Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution. Qualifications Must Have Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, quality, or closely related industrial environment; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience. U.S. citizenship required. Prefer Experience using Microsoft Office applications. SAP user experience. Leadership experience with specialized knowledge, technical/operational practices, or shop environment experience. Understanding of Lean/continuous improvement concepts. Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
