Work Environment\n

As a mental health therapist at Vibrant Growth Psychotherapy, you will work remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. This flexible work setting allows you to tailor your work hours around client needs, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ mental health status, diagnoses, and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tracking progress over time.

• Provide individual psychotherapy to both adults and children, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique situation.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with legal and insurance requirements.

• Engage in ongoing communication with treatment teams and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, treatment protocols, and licensing requirements to deliver informed and effective therapy.

• Support clients in developing coping strategies and life skills that promote their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve providing mental health counseling to diverse populations, including adults and children facing a range of psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, encouraging them to express their thoughts and feelings, and guiding them through their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating depth of knowledge in therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

• Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care will be highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques is advantageous, particularly given our remote work environment.
