Warehouse ManagerThe CFS Manager is responsible for leading CFS operations across SFO Airport CFS, the New Off Airport Facility, and the Sacramento Facility. The role provides operational leadership for freight receiving, cargo availability, staging, consolidation, cross dock, airport transfers, bonded movements, FTZ-related handling where applicable, cartage interface, customer exceptions, warehouse process discipline, service provider coordination, safety, security, compliance, employee development, and continuous improvement.Core responsibilities include multi-site CFS operations ownership, freight flow and warehouse execution, inventory, dwell, and CFS metrics, safety, security, and compliance, cartage, airport, and regional coordination, financial and resource management, and employee development and leadership.QualificationsRequired: 5+ years of warehouse, CFS, airport cargo, freight forwarding, transportation, distribution, or logistics operations experience. Leadership experience managing warehouse, CFS, airport, cartage, or freight operations teams. Strong understanding of freight receiving, staging, release, transfer, cross dock, inventory control, exception handling, and service provider coordination. Ability to manage multiple locations, including airport, off-airport, and regional operating environments. Strong communication, escalation management, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with product managers, service providers, facilities, security, compliance, IT, and district leadership. Proficiency with Expeditors operating systems, reporting tools, warehouse tools, and Microsoft Office.Technical skills: Strong understanding of software development principles. Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate. Experience with Microsoft Copilot and M365 technologies. Familiarity with data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture. Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and prompt engineering. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.Business skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to understand complex operational processes. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred: Experience with airport CFS, FTZ, bonded freight, air import, air export, GNS, cartage, or gateway operations. Experience managing warehouse KPIs, CFS monitor metrics, dwell, truck queue time, inventory controls, and operational dashboards. Experience supporting new facility launches, facility transitions, customer implementations, or service provider transitions. Familiarity with cargo security, TSA/CCSF expectations, SIDA environments, customs-controlled freight, and customer audit readiness. Experience with continuous improvement, process mapping, labor planning, and productivity management. Experience developing automations, applications, or digital solutions. Experience leading cross-functional projects. Experience working in operations, logistics, finance, or enterprise shared services environments. Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, or related technologies.Additional InformationExpected base salary: $70,304.00. Eligible for bonus.
