Senior Fullstack Engineer

Role Description

We are hiring Senior Fullstack Product Engineers (React, Typescript, Node, GraphQL & MongoDB) to build emerging products and to contribute to efforts to build features used across our Product Platform; applications through this link put you into consideration for the following teams:

• Third Party Risk Management:
  • Designed to provide software buyers with tools to evaluate the security of their vendors and partners.
  • Includes inventorying vendors, prioritizing risks, automating security reviews, and remediating findings.
  • Represents a market of $5-$10B in ARR with a CAGR of 10.8% driven by deeper scrutiny of the company’s supply chain.
• Monetization:
  • Building an enterprise-grade revenue and entitlement platform for rapid upmarket expansion.
  • Integrating with tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, Ironclad, and Metronome.
  • Establishing Vanta's entitlement source of truth and managing usage-based billing.
  • Impacting the entire customer lifecycle, including domain provisioning and management.
• Expansion:
  • Focusing on the full post-activation lifecycle—driving retention, expansion, and revenue automation.
  • Building core systems for purchasing, trial, and renewal experiences for existing clients.
  • Creating seamless checkout flows and self-serve upgrade paths.
• Collaboration:
  • Contributing to building components and APIs for GRC and Trust management tasks.
  • Ensuring components are easy to adopt by other engineering teams within Vanta.
• Customer Trust Automation:
  • Delivering experiences that reduce sales friction and automate inbound customer security assessments.
  • Fostering durable, high-trust relationships through products like the Trust Center and Questionnaire Automation.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta:

• Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers.
• Collaborate on cross-cutting engineering initiatives or building common product primitives.
• Mentor engineers and help them develop their skills.
• Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills.
• Experience leading small teams of engineers to deliver impactful projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience building user-facing SaaS products for both startups and enterprise users.
• Experience building 0→1 products and solving tough engineering problems.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Open to using AI to amplify skills and strengthen work.
