Senior Accountant Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Onsite) Department: Finance & Accounting Reports To: Assistant Controller Pay Rate: $45-$55/hour Position Type: Contract-to-Hire Industry: Manufacturing Requirement: Active CPA License Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to join a growing manufacturing organization? We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role within our Finance team. This position will partner closely with the Assistant Controller to support the monthly close process, maintain accounting accuracy, and provide technical accounting expertise across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting professional with a strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, NetSuite experience, and an active CPA license. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Lead and support month-end close processes and financial reporting. Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and collections. Maintain inventory and fixed asset records and support physical inventory counts. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analyses. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls. Serve as a technical accounting resource for the department. Qualifications Active CPA license required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience in manufacturing accounting preferred. Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
