Description: Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment. Operates specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning. Explains procedures to patients and ensures radiation safety for both patients and themselves. Maintains equipment and documents the processes involved in imaging. Collaborates with physicians to diagnose conditions and provide crucial data for patient care and research. Works in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. May need to float between multiple office locations.
