Overview X-Ray Technologist – Radiology, Mount Clemens, Michigan, United States. Travel assignment begins 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,851 to $1,993 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: Afternoon (8 hours). Setting: hospital-based radiology department. This assignment requires working in a travel capacity in a hospital environment and performing CT‑related radiologic procedures as part of standard patient care. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,851–$1,993 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoon, 8 hours Start date: 06/15/2026 On-call: Possible weekend coverage every other weekend Responsibilities Coordinate and participate in all CT scanning procedures, setting up and monitoring CT equipment and transferring/positioning patients with proper safety and lifting techniques. Verify patient identification, obtain pertinent medical history, and document allergies as required. Prepare and administer intravenous contrast as needed for examinations per Radiologist protocol; monitor for adverse reactions. Acquire, develop, and archive CT images for the patient’s permanent record; ensure accurate study documentation and proper image storage. Manage daily patient scheduling in cooperation with support staff; maintain image quality and perform routine calibration and quality control per department guidelines. Assist Radiologists and other providers with specialized radiologic procedures; support electronic/digital image capture, storage, and transfer. Monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond appropriately; provide basic life support if emergent situations arise. Maintain a safe and clean work environment; ensure supplies and equipment are stocked and properly maintained. Mentor or orient new staff as needed and participate in department-wide quality improvement activities per facility protocols. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of X‑ray experience ARRT certification and BLS certification Travel experience preferred Ability to work in a hospital radiology department and perform CT‑related procedures, including IV contrast administration as needed Willingness to work an afternoon shift and meet the guaranteed 40‑hour workweek Benefits and Support 40 guaranteed hours per week 13‑week contract with potential for extension or additional travel opportunities Travel assignment in a hospital setting On‑call coverage possible on weekends (every other weekend) Please note Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
