Nuclear Medicine Technologist
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment. They operate specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning. This role includes explaining procedures, ensuring radiation safety for patients and themselves, maintaining equipment, and documenting the processes. The technologist collaborates with physicians to diagnose conditions and provide crucial data for patient care and research, often working in hospitals, clinics, and labs.
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients. They operate specialized imaging equipment. They ensure radiation safety protocols are followed. They document imaging processes and patient information. They collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosing conditions. They maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience - Required
Cardiac experience - Required
