Medical Assistant – Bilingual Spanish - $18 - $28/Hr DOE

We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join one of the most valuable organizations in Utah! You will love this organization and their mission to support underserved communities. Job Details:

· Mon – Fri, 8am-5pm, No Weekends or Holidays!

· $18 - $22/hr. depends on experience

· Location: Taylorsville

· Bilingual Spanish required

We are seeking new Medical Assistants grads or experienced Medical Assistants to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments in order to provide exceptional patient care. We do encourage Phlebotomists CNA's, EMT's, Pre-Nursing and Pre-Med Students to apply!

Responsibilities include some of the following:

• Welcoming and room patients
• Overseeing patients’ medical records
• Inputting and supervising patients’ insurance information
• Organizing necessary information, such as hospital admissions and laboratory services
• Scheduling patient exams and diagnostic testing
• Handling patient correspondence
• Phone triage
• Preparing patients for medical examinations
• Document medical histories
• Measuring vital signs, like blood pressure
• Drawing blood for testing
• Removing sutures and changing dressings
• Participate in minor procedures
• Performing basic laboratory exams
• Helping physicians with medical examinations
• Administering injections or giving medications per physician’s instructions and as regulated by state law
• Instructing patients about medications and special diets they may need

Requirements:

· Bilingual capabilities (English - Spanish) required

· Must pass 7-year criminal background check
