Title
Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years postpartum nursing experience
- Experience in Labor & Delivery and IV start skills required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: BLS, IV certification
- Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients and healthy newborns, including those with specific needs such as NAS.
- Monitor and manage postpartum complications, including postpartum hemorrhage and preeclampsia.
- Conduct newborn assessments and therapies, including phototherapy and management of hypoglycemia.
- Administer IV therapy, including antibiotics as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for optimal patient care.
- Float to similar-acuity units as required.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Pre-approved time off: 2 days per contract
- Fingerprinting to be completed immediately after booking
