Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby

Registered Nurse Postpartum

Minimum of 2 years postpartum nursing experience required. Experience in Labor & Delivery and IV start skills required. EPIC charting experience required. Certifications: BLS, IV certification. Telemetry interpretation required; RN must pass EKG exam prior to start.

Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients and healthy newborns, including those with specific needs such as NAS. Monitor and manage postpartum complications, including postpartum hemorrhage and preeclampsia. Conduct newborn assessments and therapies, including phototherapy and management of hypoglycemia. Administer IV therapy, including antibiotics as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams for optimal patient care. Float to similar-acuity units as required.

Orientation: 36 hours. Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Pre-approved time off: 2 days per contract. Fingerprinting to be completed immediately after booking.
