Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a growth opportunity? We are looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our team. This is an opportunity with tremendous growth potential for the right person. We are looking for an independent, personable, fast learner to support our leadership team. This is a remote/hybrid position requiring weekly in person meetings with the CEO. Person must reside within the greater Denver metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Build out accounting processes around monthly reporting, revenue recognition, AR/AP, payroll, tax, annual audit, systems, treasury, and other items, as applicable.
- Develop future projections and models.
- Execute the daily, monthly and yearly financial accounting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with lenders, auditors, and other appropriate external advisors.
- Build and manage the team that will provide accounting services for a company projected to reach $100MM in less than three years.
Experience:
- BS in Accounting with an advanced degree or CPA desirable.
- Seeking an accounting professional with at least 5 years of experience including at least three years of operational accounting. Some audit experience is a big plus.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, problem solver and strategic thinker.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
