Job Description
The Reach Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in managing the safe and efficient movement of heavy goods, pallets, crates, raw materials, and finished products within our warehouse. Reporting directly to a supervisor, the operator works closely with a team to ensure smooth inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes while maintaining high standards of safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach forklift to move heavy goods, pallets, and crates safely and efficiently
- Handle loading and unloading of materials in shipping and receiving
- Manage accurate inventory tracking and organization
- Maintain compliance with warehouse safety protocols
- Support team members to ensure coordinated warehouse operations
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in forklift operation
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification
- Knowledge of forklift operation and basic maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures
- Strong inventory management skills
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and time management skills
