Safety Lead

Pay: $22.00$24.00/hour Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred Certification: OSHA 30 Required Position Overview All Tex is seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Representative to lead and elevate our safety culture at our Baytown facility. This role is ideal for someone passionate about workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety regulations Conduct daily facility inspections and monitor adherence to OSHA guidelines Continuously improve safety programs to achieve a zero-harm goal Observe and evaluate departmental safety audits Lead safety orientations, certifications, and hands-on training Manage emergency action plan training and implementation Facilitate safety committee meetings and oversee safety project teams Maintain accurate safety records and training documentation Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., fire systems, waste brokers, safety supplies) Maintain the incident database and ensure timely monthly safety audits Keep all safety binders and documentation up to date Perform other duties as assigned Must have PPE and steel toe Skills & Qualifications OSHA 30 certification required Minimum 6+ months of safety experience in a manufacturing setting Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Lock Out/Tag Out training experience Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of problem-solving Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred Proficient with computers and safety documentation systems 50/50 split between office and warehouse/shop settings Exposure to varying climate conditions and airborne particulates Moderate to high noise levels in plant areas Use of standard office equipment and issued safety gear #J-18808-Ljbffr Alltex Staffing & Personnel
