With an eye towards future growth, DCFC is preparing for a transformative milestone: the opening of a new stadium, AlumniFi Field in 2027. To that end, the club is dedicated to winning matches, promoting the sport of soccer, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, authentic storytelling, and making our city a safer and more equitable place. **Position Purpose** The Partnership Activation Coordinator plays a key role within the Detroit City FC front office, responsible for executing and fulfilling all contractual elements for corporate partners. This includes managing gameday and in-market activations, signage, media deliverables, community initiatives, partner events, and promotional campaigns. This position is instrumental in strengthening partner relationships, with a focus on driving retention, increasing renewal revenue, and identifying opportunities for upsell growth. The Coordinator collaborates closely with club leadership to deliver measurable results aligned with each partner’s marketing objectives. Additionally, this role oversees partnership inventory management, tracks performance metrics, and develops comprehensive recap materials. Through consistent reporting and proactive communication, the Coordinator ensures partners clearly see the value delivered across the Detroit City FC portfolio.**Key Responsibilities** ● Integral part of the partnerships team, managing DCFC’s current partner portfolio with duties included but not limited to account management, fulfillment of contractual obligations, activation management and partnership recaps ● Manage sponsorship data systems, including asset inventory. Manage available inventory/designations, track sold inventory and meet or exceed deadlines ● Actively participate in conversations with current partners to drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities, contributing directly to the club's revenue growth. ● Help build prospecting decks for partner renewals and potential new partners, conceptualizing and building custom concepts for pitches and presentations ● Deliver the highest service level to DCFC corporate partners ● Compile industry trends for partners and categories ● Matchday hospitality ● This position will require attendance at DCFC home matches**Qualifications** ● Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in sports marketing field with a strong focus on backend management, organization, event management ● Strong organization and communication skills are a prerequisite. ● Ability to multi-task and deliver against key deadlines. ● Results driven environment ● Curiosity and creativity ● Positive attitude to problem solving ● Strong work ethic ● Team Player ● Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software technological enhancements ● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary ● Soccer knowledge is preferred, but not required ● This position does not require a valid driver’s license.**Compensation and Benefits** Competitive salary aligned with experience. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to exchange ideas and information. This is a somewhat sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
