What You'll Do As Service Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our Service Department while leading a team of technicians and support staff. You'll be responsible for creating an environment where employees can succeed while ensuring our customers receive exceptional service every day. You’ll: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians and a Service Coordinator Drive operational excellence through performance management and continuous improvement Monitor department KPIs, technician productivity, scheduling, and workflow Ensure work orders, payroll, billing, and documentation are accurate and completed on time Partner with Sales, Parts, and Customer Support to deliver an outstanding customer experience Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and employee development discussions Promote Lean thinking and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and eliminate waste Maintain Toyota service standards while ensuring quality and safety expectations are met Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service excellence What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people just as much as solving operational challenges. Preferred Qualifications Five years of service industry experience Three to five years of leadership or management experience Material Handling industry experience is a plus You’ll Be Successful If You Have Strong leadership and coaching abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands Experience improving processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Confidence using business software and technology Why Join JIT Toyota-Lift?
