Licensed Sales Professional (LSP) – Property & Casualty Insurance

MAPS Insurance Agency – Allstate Agency | San Antonio, TX
Full-Time | Sales-Focused Position

MAPS Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated and results-driven Licensed Sales Professional (LSP) to join our growing insurance agency.

This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys speaking with prospective customers, identifying their insurance needs, preparing competitive quotes, and converting opportunities into new business.

The ideal candidate is energetic, confident on the phone, competitive, organized, and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Renters, Landlord, and other Personal Lines insurance products .
• Work agency-provided leads and follow up consistently with prospective customers.
• Conduct outbound calls, texts, and emails to generate and close new business.
• Identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
• Cross-sell and bundle Auto and Home policies whenever appropriate.
• Explain coverages, deductibles, discounts, and policy options clearly and professionally.
• Follow up on quotes and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Re-contact prospects who did not initially purchase and develop opportunities for future sales.
• Complete applications accurately and obtain required documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of customer and prospect interactions in agency systems.
• Meet or exceed established sales, premium, bundling, and conversion goals .
• Work collaboratively with the agency's service team to ensure a smooth transition from new customer to ongoing policy servicing.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred.
• Previous insurance sales experience strongly preferred.
• Allstate agency experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong telephone sales and communication skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and following up persistently with leads.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently ask for the sale.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, insurance quoting platforms, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional, dependable, coachable, and goal oriented.
• Spanish speaking (bi-lingual) preferred.

Position Focus

This is primarily a new-business sales position .

Your success will be measured through a combination of:

• New policies written
• Written premium
• Quote-to-sale conversion
• Home and Auto bundling
• Cross-selling/account rounding
• Lead follow-up
• Overall quality and accuracy of business written

Compensation & Growth

We offer a compensation structure designed to reward strong sales performance, including base compensation plus performance-based incentives/commission .

Successful LSPs will have opportunities to increase their earnings by consistently meeting and exceeding agency production goals.

Our Commission compensation structure is aggressivley competitve.
