Job Description

Join the growing team at JPO Wash Systems, LLC , a leading provider of car wash equipment, chemicals, and service throughout South Texas. We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Service Technicians to support our customers in the San Antonio area.

Our Service Technicians work directly with customers to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and service car wash equipment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers and team members, and take ownership of assigned service calls from diagnosis through completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on car wash equipment and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Repair, replace, install, and adjust equipment, components, and parts as necessary.
• Respond to customer service needs in a professional and timely manner.
• Communicate with customers to understand equipment concerns, including situations where customers may provide non-technical descriptions of the problem.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment required to perform assigned work.
• Complete assigned service work accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety procedures, service standards, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, management, and other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or trade/technical school preferred, or relevant technical/work experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including email communication.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and manage time effectively.
• Dependable, organized, and able to respond appropriately to changing service needs.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry equipment, tools, parts, and materials ranging from light to heavy weight.
• Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Safely climb and work from ladders when necessary.
• Stand and work for extended periods.
• Perform physical work in and around car wash equipment and service areas.

Schedule

Full-Time Position
Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed based on service requirements.

Compensation

Starting Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
