CNC MACHINIST

Burgaflex North America is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at our Fenton, Michigan facility. This role supports production operations by manufacturing and modifying tooling, fixtures, and components while maintaining high standards of quality, precision, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes and Bridgeport mills.
• Machine parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Support production by fabricating, repairing, and modifying tooling as needed.
• Inspect finished parts to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of machining experience on Bridgeports and manual lathes.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience machining from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ownership of personal tools is a plus.
• Surface grinder experience (1-2 years) preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position working 40+ hours per week .
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday on day shift , with start and end times determined by production needs.
• Employees must be available to work overtime as needed to support production schedules and customer demand. All overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required.
• Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
