Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Expertise in neuro assessments, drain management and post-surgical care, chest tube, and groin site management post-IR required.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit. If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift. Local candidates are not accepted; must live greater than 50 miles from the facility.

Unit Details: Higher med-surg acuity with diagnoses of stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, level 1 trauma post-ICU care, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care.

Shift & Scheduling: Maximum amount of RTO: 1 week. Holidays and every other weekend are required.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
