DSP Day Program - All 5 Boroughs

Job Description AHRC New York City is seeking Full and Part‑Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Adult Day Programs in All Five Boroughs. Full‑Time Positions Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (35 hours per week). Pay rate: $18 per hour plus a very generous and comprehensive benefit packet which includes free medical insurance paid by company at no cost to you. Bonuses:

• 2,000 upon completion and passing of AHRC Defensive Driving class
• 2,000 upon completion of AMAP training

Oversee all safety and health considerations. Promote skill development, interests, and hobbies. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Qualifications Personal and/or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver and ability to stay updated on related regulations. Understanding of Person‑Centered Planning. Reasonable flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to scheduling needs. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with program participants, families, staff, and community agencies. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. High School diploma or GED is preferred.
