Senior Tax Manager Public Accounting | Leadership Opportunity | Hybrid Flexibility
A growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a strong middle-market and high-net-worth client base while playing a key role in mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
This is an excellent fit for someone looking for high-level tax work and leadership responsibility without the excessive hours often associated with larger firms
What You’ll Be Responsible For Client Leadership
- Serve as a primary advisor to business owners and individual clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting recommendations
- Oversee complex returns including:
- Partnerships
- S-Corporations
- Corporations
- Individual and fiduciary returns
- Research and resolve advanced tax matters
- Review returns and deliverables prepared by staff and seniors
- Mentor and develop tax staff and seniors
- Assist with workflow management and project delegation
- Partner with firm leadership on operational and growth initiatives
- Help foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture
- CPA designation required
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Prior leadership or management experience within a CPA firm
- Strong technical knowledge across business and individual taxation
- Experience working directly with clients and managing engagements
- Ability to balance technical expertise with relationship management
