Rowe Plastic Surgery (RPS) is a growing, multi-site aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice with locations in Montclair and Red Bank, NJ; New York, NY; and Palm Beach, FL. As our organization continues to expand, we are building out a best-in-class infrastructure to support our patients, providers, and staff — and we're looking for a Staff Accountant, based on-site in our West Palm Beach office, to help power that growth.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Rowe Plastic Surgery is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations across our growing multi-location organization. This role will be responsible for general ledger accounting, accounts payable, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany activity, and month-end close.

The Staff Accountant/ Senior Accountant will also play an important role in supporting our transition to and ongoing use of Sage Intacct, including testing, data validation, documentation, and execution of established accounting processes.

*This is an onsite in person position located in West Palm Beach, FL. Only Local Candidates will be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, reclassifications, account analysis, and supporting schedules as part of the month-end close.
• Prepare and maintain bank, credit card, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Support the Company's transition to and ongoing use of accrual accounting, ensuring transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
• Perform day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice coding, approval verification, payment processing, documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare allocation entries and supporting schedules across multiple entities.
• Assist with Sage Intacct implementation and ongoing use, including system testing, data validation, process documentation, and accounting workflow execution.
• Review assigned general ledger activity for accuracy, completeness, and unusual transactions.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting information needed for financial reporting, audits, tax preparation, and management review.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation in accordance with established policies and internal controls.
• Research routine accounting discrepancies and escalate significant, complex, or unusual matters for review.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes as the organization continues to grow.
• Complete assigned accounting responsibilities accurately and within established deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 2–6 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of accrual accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions preferred.
• Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred; accounting-system implementation or conversion experience is a plus.
• Healthcare, physician-practice, or multi-location accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
