Marketing Operations Associate – Salesforce, CRM & List Building

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Marketing Operations Associate to support CRM management, marketing data, prospect list building, campaign operations, reporting, and workflow optimization.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep marketing systems clean, accurate, organized, and scalable.

You'll work closely with the VP of Marketing and support day-to-day operations across Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, prospecting tools, campaign reporting, and data management.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of CRM data, and capable of turning messy marketing processes into reliable, repeatable workflows.

Salesforce CRM & Marketing Data Management

Maintain the accuracy and reliability of marketing data inside Salesforce CRM.

You'll:

• Audit, clean, and standardize CRM records.
• Maintain accurate lead and contact information.
• Identify and merge or resolve duplicate records.
• Standardize fields and data formatting.
• Maintain campaign attribution and source data.
• Segment records based on marketing and campaign requirements.
• Monitor CRM hygiene and proactively identify data quality issues.
• Ensure marketing data is clean and ready for campaign execution.
• Support accurate reporting across marketing and sales systems.

Prospect List Building & Data Enrichment

Build targeted B2B prospect lists using tools such as:

• ZoomInfo
• Apollo
• LinkedIn
• Similar prospecting and data-enrichment platforms

You'll:

• Research companies and decision-makers.
• Build lists based on Ideal Customer Profile criteria.
• Validate and enrich prospect information.
• Segment prospects by:
• Industry
• Job title
• Geography
• Company size
• Campaign criteria
• Remove duplicates and inaccurate records.
• Prepare clean, campaign-ready lists.
• Support outbound marketing and lead generation initiatives.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Operations

Support campaign execution across platforms such as:

• Salesforce
• Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
• HubSpot
• Similar marketing automation systems

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting email campaign setup and execution.
• Building and maintaining audience segments.
• Assisting with nurture workflows.
• Maintaining campaign tracking.
• Ensuring proper tagging and attribution.
• Performing pre-launch data and campaign checks.
• Monitoring campaign operations for errors or inconsistencies.
• Supporting accurate handoffs between marketing and sales.

Reporting & Marketing Analytics

• Maintain marketing dashboards and reporting systems.
• Track campaign and lead generation activity.
• Validate reporting data for accuracy.
• Identify inconsistencies between CRM and marketing platforms.
• Support campaign attribution reporting.
• Prepare recurring marketing performance reports.
• Help leadership maintain visibility into campaign and pipeline activity.
• Improve reporting processes as marketing operations scale.

Marketing Operations & Process Improvement

• Document marketing processes, workflows, and SOPs.
• Identify repetitive or inefficient processes.
• Recommend improvements to marketing workflows.
• Help standardize recurring operational tasks.
• Maintain clear documentation for campaign setup and execution.
• Support automation opportunities where appropriate.
• Help create scalable systems that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.

SEO & Website Support

Provide basic operational support for website and SEO initiatives, including:

• Website audits
• Metadata updates
• Keyword implementation
• Internal linking
• Content updates
• Basic CMS maintenance
• Competitor research

Deep technical SEO expertise is not required, but familiarity with fundamental SEO concepts is valuable.

Content & Marketing Support

Assist the marketing team with:

• Email formatting
• Campaign setup
• Content publishing
• Marketing asset coordination
• Canva templates
• Marketing collateral updates
• Website content changes
• Organizing campaign assets

Ensure marketing materials remain consistent, accurate, and organized.

Required Experience & Skills

• Professional experience with Salesforce CRM.
