Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:30 AM - 01:30 PMTue05:30 AM - 01:30 PMWed05:30 AM - 01:30 PMThur05:30 AM - 01:30 PMFri05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
