Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing, publicly traded organization to identify a Staff Accountant. Primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant role include: Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audit and internal control requirements Assist with cash reporting, bank reconciliations, and daily treasury-related activities Process and review accounting transactions related to payroll, expenses, and operational costs Partner with operational and corporate departments to support accounting initiatives and resolve discrepancies Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed Primary qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 1-3+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibilities Public accounting experience and/or experience within a corporate accounting environment is highly desirable Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data effectively Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
