This acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center provides 24/7 emergency care and a broad range of specialty services to patients throughout Laredo and the surrounding South Texas community. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts across its network of freestanding emergency departments.

Laredo, Texas is a border city situated along the Rio Grande and offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may visit Lake Casa Blanca International State Park, which provides opportunities for fishing, hiking, biking, and recreational activities, as well as the Villa Antigua Border Heritage Museum, housed in a restored Italianate-style building that chronicles the area's history and culture. The downtown area features Spanish colonial architecture, murals, and a music scene spanning multiple genres.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts across 3 freestanding emergency departments in Laredo, Texas, working 12-hour shifts on an on-site basis. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations spanning all age groups, from routine urgent conditions to high-acuity trauma and critical emergencies, at a Level III Trauma Center. Clinicians will work alongside APPs and have access to on-site diagnostic services and specialty support throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
