Overview:

This is an amazing opportunity for a Stick Welder to earn $20.00 hourly on 3rd Shift. Plus, radically affordable health insurance after 30 days.

**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE STICK WELDING ON GALVANIZED STEEL. WELD MUST PASS VISUAL**

• $20.00+ hourly depending on experience
• 2nd Shift
• Opportunity to work with top tube supports and structural components
• Ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures
• Work closely with fitters, fabricators, and quality control personnel

What You'll Do: Top Tube Support Welder/Stick

• Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on top tube supports and structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, fitting, and positioning components
• Inspect completed welds for defects and conformance to quality specifications
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment of assemblies

Skills and Experience:

Preferred Candidate Might:

- Previous experience with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick)
- Knowledge of welding procedures, fabrication processes, and quality standards
- Experience working with carbon steel and structural steel components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years in industrial painting
- Experience with large industrial equipment
- Knowledge of industrial coating systems
- Attention to detail
- OSHA safety standards familiarity
