This opportunity runs from late August 2026 through June 2027 and is based in-person at a vibrant educational setting near Dearborn, MI. Collaborate closely with fellow educators and support staff in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), helping students with mild to moderate needs achieve classroom success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement required
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate needs is highly desirable
• Understanding of IEP development, classroom modifications, and instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning requirements
• Develop, maintain, and implement effective IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Document progress, interventions, and adjustments with accuracy and professionalism
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes student achievement and independence
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and IEP team meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
