It goes all the way from enabling our sales teams (and other DSPs, resellers) to engage advertisers to run their campaigns on Netflix, and cuts across inventory and order management, campaign execution, ad serving, audience onboarding, targeting and delivery, measurement, reporting and finance.Our team is new, yet we have enormous ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the rapidly growing Connected TV advertising space, we seek to build unique value propositions that help us differentiate from the competition and become a market leader in record time.The Ads Reporting Infrastructure team builds and operates the foundational systems that collect, enrich, and deliver ads-related events at scale. These systems ensure that raw signals from client devices, servers, and third-party integrations are transformed into clean, reliable, and privacy-safe data streams powering measurement, serving, reporting, and financial workflows.We are looking for highly motivated engineers working in the advertising space who are excited to join us on this journey.Skills & experience we’re seeking:Experience with real-time systems a mustExtensive experience in building large-scale, low-latency distributed systems and real-time data processingExperience building low-latency, highly available pipelines to ingest billions of ad events daily from client and server endpoints.Experience building monitoring, alerting, and auditing systems to guarantee end-to-end data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.Hands-on expertise building and integrating with ad technologies such as SSPs, DSPs, or Ad Servers. In-depth understanding of programmatic advertising.Expertise in building and integrating APIs and services with data technologies such as Apache Druid for real-time analytics and data processingBroad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends.Developed many cloud-based applications and comfortable with modern programming languages (preferably object-oriented)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Must-haves: JVM based programming language (or C++)Deep knowledge of at least one of these:Stream processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Flink)Real-time event processing systemsDistributed caching systemExperience designing event-driven or streaming data pipelinesExperience working in Pacing and Budgeting teams at large advertising companiesNice to haves:Experience with Apache Flink or similar streaming frameworksExperience with ads infrastructure (ad serving, pacing, budgeting, measurement, or attribution)Experience building event ingestion pipelinesFamiliarity with streaming analytics systemsExperience working with large-scale event pipelines (millions+ events/sec)Streaming AnalyticsAds servingExperience working in Ad Serving teams (DSP or SSP)Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $619,000.00.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
