• MD or DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology
• Board certification or fellowship required
• Active physician license
• ECFMG and FLEX required
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
• Experience with general and orthopedic case types preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

• Assist in directing and coordinating anesthesia department activities
• Provide medical management for patients receiving anesthesia during surgery and other procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients safely from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition throughout care
• Provide clinical intervention when needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and the care team to support safe, efficient patient care
