Key Responsibilities

• Zealously defend high-value, complex civil claims within Medical Malpractice and General Liability portfolios.
• Conduct daily depositions, handle court appearances, and champion motion practice.
• Collaborate closely with internal specialized resources, including an elite team of in-house medical nurse consultants, to construct bulletproof causation defenses.
• Manage cases effectively from initial evaluation through mediation or trial resolution.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proven experience in Civil Defense Litigation (Prior background in Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, or General Liability is highly favored).
• Exceptional written advocacy, deposition expertise, and strong interpersonal verbal communication skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – 200,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
