Hightower & Partners, an AV-rated insurance defense firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our West Palm Beach office. This role is ideal for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of cases, further develop litigation strategy, and play a key role in high-exposure matters.

About the Role:

You will independently manage a caseload focused on bodily injury defense, including auto accidents, premises liability, and general negligence claims. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex matters from inception through resolution, with meaningful client interaction and courtroom exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full litigation caseload independently from intake through resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and reports to carriers
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and case conferences
• Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients and experts
• Ensure accurate and timely billing in compliance with firm and carrier guidelines

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
• Strong experience in bodily injury/personal injury defense preferred
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and deadlines
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research skills
• Proven deposition and courtroom experience
• Familiarity with billing practices and timekeeping requirements
