Occupational Therapist School Setting in Lusby, MD

Embark on an enriching contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated occupational therapist in a school-based environment near Lusby, MD. You'll collaborate with educational teams to help children meet their functional and academic goals for the 2026-2027 school year. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license required
• Prior experience working with school-age children or in an educational setting is preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to manage documentation and adhere to state and district guidelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families

Role Highlights:

• Serve a diverse caseload: one Early Intervention (11-month) and one K-12 opening
• Full-time schedule aligned with the academic calendar (August 10th, 2026 - June 17th, 2027)
• Deliver direct OT interventions, assess student needs, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team for IEP meetings and planning
• Support classrooms and staff with strategies for student success and accessibility
• Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements
