Maintenance Technician/Millwright

Essential Job Duties:

• Must be able to work on and understand hydraulic systems and be able to fabricate.
• Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the repair of large industrial equipment in industrial facilities.
• Must be able to make complex repairs to steel processing equipment and have the ability to lead others to completion of said repairs.
• Must be able to climb, work in elevated areas and work a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of six (6) years of documented experience in related field.
• Pass the Mechanical Technician C test with a seventy percent (70%) overall score, forty two (42) out of sixty (60) questions.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No later than two (2) years of hire date, the Mechanical Technician C shall take the Millwright Journeyman test to become a Millwright B.
• Once the classification of Millwright B has been achieved, an Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance must be obtained to become a Millwright A from approved academic provider.

Salary Description 25.36 - 31.36 per hour
