Network Systems Analyst

JOB TITLE Network and Systems Administrator REF # 5820.000B JOB DUTIES Maintain, Develop and administer computer networks and systems, including hardware, software and configuration on assigned client projects. Analyze client needs to determine requirements. Translate requirements into design for computer/network system. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use. Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Document systems and provide post-implementation support. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Utilize at least five (5) of the following: Unix/Linux System Administration, VMWare Administration, TIBCO, .NET, SAP ABAP, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Sharepoint, Solaris. SPECIAL SKILLS Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT Related Degree and two (2) years experience. Two (2) years experience must have included at least five (5) of the following: Unix/Linux System Administration, VMWare Administration, TIBCO, .NET, SAP ABAP, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Sharepoint, Solaris.
